Incredible views along the way and especially at the top! We hiked by Alberta Falls, Loch Vale and continued up to Lake of Glass and Sky Pond. If you don’t arrive before 7 am just take the Bear Lake shuttle or you will have to turn around and then stand in a long line for the shuttle. We wanted to start at 7:30 am, but by the time we arrived it was 9. It took us about 6 hours with breaks for lunch and photos. We hiked it June 9 and there was still a lot of snow leading up to the alpine lakes. Trekking poles would have been helpful. It was pretty slippery climbing down the waterfall and super windy at Sky Pond. The views were worth it, great hike!!

Great hike that’s not too far from Denver! We started about 8:45 am on Saturday June 2 and the parking lot was starting to fill up. It got busier on our way down around 10:30. It took about 2 hours round trip with some short breaks. The view was beautiful from the top and there are tons of wildflowers all different colors. We went on Raven Roost trail counter clockwise and it starts off really steep with a wider path. The way down on Oxen Draw is in the Forest more with shade and lots of creeks cutting through.

Incredible views!!! First hike after arriving in Moab and I loved every minute! It was surprisingly not too crowded arriving Saturday afternoon, we even got some photos without people in the background. I would do this one again for sure!

Decent trail length (4.2 miles) and incline. We started the hike Sunday morning at 9 am and the parking lot was already filling up, but the trail wasn’t too crowded yet. The falls are still partially frozen with water flowing underneath the ice. There are great views from the Cliff Overlook trail, but there are places where the trail is a bit confusing and not clearly marked. I recommend getting an early start (9 or earlier) before the crowds show up. It took us about 2.5 hours with a small snack break in the middle.
