This is a great hike for some amazing views. It can get very busy with large groups of tourists during weekends so I recommend doing this during a weekday. If you are looking for a longer workout, the Guy Fleming loop branches off of this trail (.6 mi). I use these trails during the work week to train for more difficult hikes.

During high tide you may not be able to walk on the beach easily. Check the tide before you go!

Despite the easy rating: 1/4 of the hike is a steep hill. You gain all of the 300+ elevation at once so it's like climbing 15 flights flights of stairs. About 1/3 of this loop is an uneven dirt trail so I would highly recommend wearing athletic shoes and being mindful of rattlesnakes.

Free parking is limited along 101 but there is a state park lot that charges $15 for the day.

Quick intense hike! You are rewarded with beautiful views of the park once you reach the top.

Well maintained and interesting trail close to home. It can get busy on the weekend but the crowds can be avoided on the Northern end.
