For those who wind up on the ADA approved paved trail and find themselves disappointed... look a little harder to find the singletrack. It’s the trail with orange paint markings. It crosses the paved trail once and the mulch trail once. The ADA trail is 0.73 miles long and the singletrack is 3.11 miles long crossing the powerline road twice.

Fun trail loop that meanders through forest, rock gardens, some grassland, and several technical sections as well as a few short climbs. There’s a little bit of everything along this trail to hone your mountain biking or trails running skills. Start at the Gold Canyon Park trailhead and walk in until you hit the single-track. Then go left or right and with some luck (and probably your smart phone) you’ll make it back to the same location in 3.1 miles. You can also pick up the trail from the power line gravel road or from behind the nearby Redland
    Woods Park.

Decent walking trail thaht's mostly flat and paved. The signs indicate bicycles are allowed, but I wouldn't recommend it since it's just a short pedestrian pathway. There are outdoor workout stations positioned about every quarter mile or so and there's an outdoor classroom near the library. The watchtower at the top of the 75 ft hill isn't that exciting.

Beautiful nature trail system that's good for hiking and trail running. There's a nice amount of ascent and the views at the top are definitely worth it.

Fast loamy trails built into the banks of the Kansas River on the east side of Manhattan, Kansas. Trails do get a little swampy in the Spring and Fall, but otherwise they are fast and fun.

Fun trails with a nice variance of technical rock gardens and fast, flowy areas. The trail is regularly maintained by local mountain bikers.

Superbly built trail system with fast, flowy descents and some decent climbing. My favorite trail is the Brown Wave with its pine trees and well groomed turns.

Well maintained trail system that has a mix of wide open flowy parts and really tightly woven single-track through the trees. Definitely worth a ride or three.

Awesome trail system that has some great technical bits. There are some easier loops as well and most of the trail system is decently marked. It is private property so there is an entry fee. Annuals fees or working on trail maintenance days are also options if you want to ride here regularly.

Great trail system, I wish they would tie all of these paved paths together to create a loop around San Antonio!

Fun, fast trail system that stays mostly flowy throughout. Note really much in the way of trail markings, so keep an eye on your map if you want to make it all the way around without getting off track.

Beautiful trail system with lots of natural features and nice places to stop and relax. Also a nice place to kayak up and down the river using the convenient lock system.

Flat gravel trails running mostly north and south through Brackenridge Park. Provides a nice break from pounding pavement around town.
