Short trail with a steep hill down to the beach through a sitka spruce forest. From the beach you can continue to explore Pacific Rim National Park's fantastic beaches

Relative to other trails/walks in Pacific Rim National Park, this trail is not as exciting, the beaches you visit are nice and secluded though (Kwistis and South Beach). The South beach trail itself only goes as far as it's namesake beach the connecting trail to Florencia Bay is actually the Nuu-Chah Nulth trail.

Very nice short trail. Interesting landscape, like walking through a Dr. Seuss book.

This lighthouse trail had unbelievable views of the ocean, black rugged shores and rainforest. Isn't as well known as others in the area, but really stunning.

Great forest trail close to Toronto with a surprising amount of wildlife. The forest seemed open and inviting. The sound of the highway nearby was the only thing to remind you you were in the city. We stayed close to the ridge line which gave interesting views through the forest into the valley. The trail had a number of branches and side trails to wander down.

Stunning trail! We were lucky to get sunny weather the whole time. Incredible views. Part of the hike through scree and snow before hitting a false summit and then the true summit (really more of a flat area). The whole trail has interesting things to see, and don't miss out on the fresh spring water at the small lake/pond on the backside of the mountain coming down.

Don Valley trails, get's a bit more open and less green as you continue towards the water. Good for long runs.

One of the more visibly interesting natural spaces in the Toronto area. High cliffs and nice beaches.

Mainly a nice boardwalk stroll. The East end of the city is a slower pace which can be great.

Decent trail, easily accessible from Victoria Park or Warden station (TTC - subway). Currently the trail and river system is being worked on (May 2016)

I love the Leslie Spit, whether for running or walking or finding unexpected nature in the heart of the city. The Leslie Spit is a landscape of contrasts, nature digging it's way out of industrial cast offs.

Definitely a hidden (in plain sight) gem.
