I love Poo Poo Point as it is so convenient and a great workout. For full enjoyment go early in the morning on a weekday or do the longer backside route which will be less crowded(starts near the middle school). This route’s trail itself is quite steep and on a weekend will be slam packed with people who probably didn’t expect it to be such a grueling climb. Views from the top are gorgeous and getting to watch the paragliders take off is always fun. Just know going in that if you go mid morning on a weekend you should expect to never be alone on the trail.

Nice quick and short hike close to Seattle. The falls are pretty impressive, especially the lower view point. Very busy on a Saturday morning, Lot was completely full with cars parked up the side of the road about 700 feet at 930 am. Hike itself is only about 1.5 miles to the falls and is fairly easy, with two small stretches of switchbacks. Looked to be a popular hike for families as it is quick and relatively easy. Best part is hanging out on the rocks near the river by the trailhead and letting our toddler splash in the water. Trail was VERY crowded but that’s to be expected on a Saturday morning.

Great hike! Nice steady climb up to the lake which is beautiful. Trail was VERY busy on a Saturday morning, but that’s to be expected. As mentioned, road up is filled with deep and wide pot holes, I wouldn’t want to take a sedan up but plenty people did. Trail itself was fairly muddy and slick and was quite rocky but easily navigable; saw many people in running shoes making due. Lake at the top was nice with plenty of spots to get air along the shore and take a break.
