J E reviewed Bridge to Nowhere via East Fork Trail

Very challenging but would do again. First time going there and was tricky continuing on the right trail but would occasionally follow blue and red markers left by others along the trail. Definitely got really dehydrated because of very strong sun so I would recommend taking as much water as you can. Water was very beautiful, unlike any I’ve seen in other rivers near by. It actually looked clear and blue! It was cold but feels great after hiking in burning sun. Hike would have been 5 stars if the correct trail was more obvious for 1st timers because it made the hike initially a bit anxiety inducing.

The parking is difficult but we still managed to find some in the “no parking” zones because that’s all there was and dozens of other cars were parked there as well with no tickets so I think they just don’t enforce it anymore. I could be wrong though and they might do random sweeps but seems unlikely. The area prior to the real action of the trail is very overcrowded with campers and swimmers but soon after its nearly desolate up until the bridge where there are bungee jumpers.
