Great trail with well marked trails. Did the B loop which is about 9 miles starting at the Tucker Hill Trailhead. $2 to access park. I would rate this easy to moderate. The trail has a few roots and some dampness here and there but overall a pretty easy hike with some elevation (150 ft.) which is a lot for Florida. Very little traffic and the ability to customize your hike as you go. Enjoy!

Easy trek out and back that ends at canoe launch. You can make the hike longer by veering off on one of the equestrian trails. Bring a paddle - there are canoes awaiting you at the end.

Good hike with decent elevation and terrain changes. No big "ta-da" at the end but a good walk in heavy canopied woods. There are off-road vehicle trails that intersect and at times used in this loop. Park on paved pull off across from Shaker Village (800 ft. west of the Village). Trail starts behind gate. You will get to a bridge that crosses the water on right. Stay to right and take the Shaker Mountain Loop (it says 2.4 miles but this loop is twice that long). Once passing the summit near the radio tower at the top, you will see markers with green arrows (white dot). Don't take the CCC or Shaker Brook Trail - up mountain again until you reach Holy Mountain. Trail then leads back to Rt. 20.

HEADS UP! 1. Will will need to first pass through armed security at the Surry Power Plant entrance. 2. You will need proper credentials to access the island (fishing license will do) 3. Forget about May-July unless you like deer fly attacks! Its a beautiful place but will return in the Fall.
