I started at around 430 finished at 815. it's a hual up, but worth it. Lots of people so start super early or go late and bring a head lamp.

This is a great trail if you want to get great views. The first part ends on a nice open area which is great for those who do not want to continue up the remainder of the trail. The narrow trail is not that bad, but if you are afraid of heights, then stay at the Eagle's nest.

Jeremy Huntley reviewed Wheeler Peak Trail via Stella Lake Trail

I did this on Saturday. For a holiday I expected more people, but I started early in the morning around 7:15. I saw a lot of people on my way down, but never crowded.

Easy class 1. The first 2.5 miles are a breeze. The last climb isn't bad, just pace yourself. Summit was nice and great views.

Jeremy Huntley reviewed Chewuch River Trail to Four Point Lake

We took the Cathedral driveway to the Chewuch on to Tungsten and then to the Boundary Trail. As long as you cut off at the 4 point junction you'll be fine. The burn is a lot of downed trees and a lot of climbing. Oh, and bring a mosquito net. bugs were thick.

Just went this morning. Got started at 715 and the lot was already full. Mostly from overnighters and those going to Red Pine. Overall not too bad. Like anything else in the Cottonwoods, its a climb, but there is never anything really steep. Still a few streams and some mud so be prepared for that. I suggest getting started early before the crowds show up. I'd say 630 to 7 ought to do it.
