Great trail run, well maintained very uphill/downhill with not much in between. Beautiful views of Spokane and the surrounding hills. I did see several groups of people and most of them had dogs with them. This trail hooks to Stevens Creek trail. A sign was posted on the gate that in the last few days a run of car break-ins have happened. So make sure your car is empty of valuables.

I didn't get to do all the trails but this place has a bit of everything. From beach to cedar deep woods, it is a beautiful hike. Some parts are a more moderate climb so be prepared for that, but it's a good mix of hike and level trails. I can't wait to try it again when we visit.

Beautiful trails. Some are easy to moderate with beautiful cedar and birch groves. It depends on the time of day sometimes it's busy but usually only see a few people. My favorite set of hikes, I visit every time I'm on Whidbey Island.

As of 4-19-16 they've cleared the trail of windstorm debris. It is a well maintained trail and was marked well enough to find where to go. We went clockwise to the waterfalls which is challenging for a light hiker with many switchbacks. This side is more of a moderate hike. Moving counter clockwise on the trail is much easier and a bit more gradual with sections of more difficult terrain. The whole loop took just over 4 hours to complete moving at a steady pace with a few breaks. The waterfall was beautiful and worth the trek in the spring when it's at its most powerful.
