This trail offers options to go to either Chephren and/or Cirque Lake (both are beautiful). Both begin on the same path and at 1.9km the trail splits (Chephren to the right -trail is fairly flat, and Cirque to the left - trail has a bit more uphill). Both trails are currently very muddy and have a lot of roots, so consider wearing hiking boots with good ankle support. My group took ~4 hours to complete both trails (with stops at each of the Lakes).

Completed this hike on September 29, beautiful larch hike! First 1/2 of the hike is relatively flat with minimal elevation. Second half has hills with a few steep sections but overall very manageable. Lots of snow on the trail, about mid calf deep near the top, that being said we didn’t require snowshoes. Very windy at the top, so dress warm!

I’ve heard from several people that this is one of their favourite hikes and it’s easy to see why. The ridge walk is incredible, providing 360 degrees views of the surrounding mountains and a killer view of Spray Lakes! I can attest to all the other posts, go CLOCKWISE. Be aware the ridge is quite exposed and a bit of a scramble. Take your time and watch your footing. Also completed this hike with a dog, but I would not recommend it for most dogs. The trail is quite rocky and slippery and I think a lot of dogs wouldn’t be able to complete it without being carried for certain sections (which would be very challenging).

Amazing hike lots of different scenery throughout. Would recommend poles (several steep sections), rain gear (very cold at the top and weather changes frequently) and water purification device (the hike is pretty long). If you’re really tired you can stop at the meadow but the views at the top are definitely worth the physical effort to get there. Great day hike from any of the last 3 campsites on the Berg Lake trail. Give yourself the whole day for this one (my group took about 6.5 hours, but many others said they took up to 9).

Very busy, but worth going to, beautiful slot canyon with lots of waterfalls. We started with 5th bridge and ended at the 1st (in my opinion the best waterfall). Good rainy day hike and dog friendly.

Nice little walk. Lakes are very pretty especially in the sun! Dog friendly.

Good roadside stop! It’s a fairly easy and short hike but well worth it! Tons of waterfalls and views get better and better as you go.
