Beautiful little trail for snowshoeing! Had a blast for sure.

I give this 5 stars because it's a fairly tame hike for the most amazing views. I don't think this should be rated as hard compared to the average hiker. Yes, it may be hard to some who are out of shape or new to hiking, but definitely not hard in general. If you get a clear day, you will be blown away by the 360 degree view. I definitely recommend!

This hike is easy in the sense of distance and little elevation gain, but the heat made it miserable. I would only recommend going out here during cooler weather. The area does have some different scenery compared to other parts of Washington that I am used to, and it was beautiful, but the heat made me never want to go back.

The waterfall is a great place to sit down and eat lunch or snack it up. There are parts of the trail that are a bit confusing to follow and have some steep areas where you need to grab on to tree roots to pull yourself up, but other than that it is a nice hike!

This is a decent hike that ends at a beautiful lake. There are some openings that give you the most incredible views of the mountain range. However, I got eaten alive by bugs even with bug spray! We did get to see some deer at our camp site which was pretty cool. The lake also has some nice spots with big boulders to sit on and relax in the sun. I wouldn't spend more than one night here as you can see everything you want in that time.

I really enjoyed this hike because a lot of the scenery is a bit different than many other hikes I have been on. A lot of beautiful flowers were in bloom which was really cool to walk through. There were also times when you would be walking through a huge open field and it was a nice change of pace to the trails with covered trees and lots of plants. The lake is beautiful and I found a massive log in the water that I could access to sit on. We camped up there and it was so peaceful!

Beautiful, and somewhat challenging, hike! The views are great and the wildflowers were INCREDIBLE when in bloom. The hike is exposed to the sun for a good chunk and my dog and I were over the heat. The parking is also a mess because it does get so crowded. I had to park over half a mile away on the side of the road, which took me about 30 minutes to find, so get there early!

This hike is so beautiful at the top that the crazy burn you get is worth it! The trail is mostly shaded from tree coverage and is well maintained. There is a moderate scramble at the end with so many rocks to sit on so you aren't necessarily crowded by people. The downhill was a bit painful on the ankles because it's fairly steep the whole way, but it was very refreshing once I was done!

This hike is incredible! It is absolutely stunning at the top. This hike is definitely a burner and I wouldn't recommend it if you are really out of shape or have bad knees or something like that. It does get really steep at some points but the trail is well maintained and clearly marked. This is a must do for anyone who loves to hike.

The hike is mostly moderate with some areas that are more difficult due to the incline. The scenery is beautiful with some areas of water and bridges to cross. My favorite was reaching the top of the hike and seeing the paragliders taking off. I saw some families with children on the trail so it seems to be a good hike for everyone, but you will sweat!

This is the best hike for those who live in Kitsap county but don't want to drive too far. Beautiful views and a well maintained trail. Perfect for trail running!

Beautiful trail and an even more beautiful lake. I wouldn't rate this as "hard" however. Some areas, especially towards the end, get more steep, but overall it's very doable, even with children!

Absolutely worth the exhaustion! Just make sure to hike to the left on Aasgard Pass. Made the mistake of "short-cutting" and trying to slip through the right side, and it didn't end up very well. Got a little hurt with some falling boulders, so make sure to stay safe and enjoy the beauty!

We hiked to Marmot Pass and camped just south of Buckhorn. The trail was well-kept and beautiful, but gets steeper the further you go, so be prepared to sweat! We recommend camping around Marmot Pass (instead of Camp Mystery) because the views are incredible! Camp Mystery is the last place to fill up on water before the pass, so plan accordingly. If you camp near Buckhorn, you might even get to eat breakfast with the resident mountain goats! We definitely recommend this hike!

We found this hike on accident actually. We were searching for another trail, and due to poor directions we ended up at this trail head. We decided to just wing it and it turned out to be a great hike! We were hiking at a fairly quick pace and we were definitely sweating and out of breath. There was an area of hornets that wouldn't leave us alone which became really frustrating, but overall, it was a pretty good hike. Some beautiful views at the top of the peaks, but other than that, nothing too different that sets it apart from other PNW trails.

Fairly easy trail with a beautiful view of Seattle at the end. Perfect for anyone living in Kitsap County who wants a close hike that isn't boring.
