Fantastic view of Historic Harpers Ferry. It was good to go early because we came off the rock at 10 am and say at least a hundred people on our way down.

Absolutely magnificent view from the top. One if the best overlooks in the area.

Great Bike/Walking trail. Lots of people enjoy this trail on a daily basis, both on bike and by foot.

Great 6 mile out and back hike with an awesome stop halfway at David Lesser Shelter. The shelter has a 3 sided cabin, a shelter, an outhouse, 6 tent sites and a fresh water spring. Will definitely hike this again and stay at the shelter longer next time.

Wonderful view from Split Rock. Also quite surprised with the two rocks along the trail that look like very out of place along the way to split rock. It was almost as impressive as the view from the top.

Nice section of the AT with easy access from Keys Gap Parking lot on Hwy 9. Not many elevation changes but sturdy shoes and trekking sticks are helpful because this trail has many rock crawls.

Nice morning walk with the dog. Starts off from parking lot down the ridge to the battlefields. Cannons and lots of historical signs then back up the ridge to the parking lot.

Awesome park. Going up Piedmont Overlook was hard right at the beginning of the hike. I will go the other way up South Ridge next time. This will also be great for the view coming down Piedmont Overlook. Overall awesome hike.

Great Saturday morning hike with my dog. The front half of the trail loop is rolling meadows and the back half is up in the mountains with a creek running down the middle. I was the only person hiking with a few other guys mountain biking the front half. The trail is also open to horseback riding with pull thru parking for trailers. Parking is $5.

Great 4 to 5 mile hike if you just need to put some miles on your boots. Easy for all ages, and great history along the way.
