Jason Paddock reviewed Musgrove Mill Horseshoe Falls Trail

The trail is more for historical buffs than hikers, but it's a nice walk none-the-less. Plenty of benches along the trail for those not used to hiking but want to get outside. Very family friendly. The small fall is very close to the parking lot. Took my 6 year old through the trail, promising her we'd stop at the fall on the way back. The area is a nice little spot to play and splash around in. Would definitely recommend for a family with kids looking to get outside.

Great challenging trail with rewarding views at the top. Christine Clark's review below is pretty spot on, though there are definitely a few sections some would describe as steep. If you can make it to the shelter at about the half way point, you've done most of the tough climbing. Take rest and keep going. Once you make the turn at the top, it's significantly flatter with a couple of short climbs. Governor's rock provides a nice additional break if needed after a short ascent. If you make it up there, you're only about a half mile to the summit and another half mile to the lookout, which is certainly worth continuing on. Very hot in the middle of July. Either bring lots of water or wait until cooler weather. Love the Table Rock park area.

Posted a pic of the new road side bridge marking the trail head on the right. (Google Maps GPS says a little further and to the left: wrong.) If you get to the hunting area parking, you've gone to far. Hiked to the edge of the Green River and up a bit. Still seemed like plenty of trail to go even though we went about 3.5 in. Love the sound of water virtually the whole time and a lot if great views. Lots of roots and rocks early, but smooths out a bit with lots of variety. Really enjoyed it.
