Trail is long, but not too difficult. The mountain bikers are ridiculously dangerous to walkers. They think if they ring their little bell you need to immediately jump off the trail for them. It should not be our risk to constantly look behind us to cater to their speeding on the trail. We stuck to the proper side of the trail coming up and down. Caves were great! Would not do again only because of the bike situation.

Amazing views and scenery. I would use caution in some areas as there are some very narrow goat trails that are covered in snow. You will need to watch your feet so you don't end up plummeting down the mountain! Great day!

Weather is perfect for this trail! I've done it when it's 108degrees and I didn't die! It was 91 the other day when we walked it! The falls are flowing from all the rain this year and there were no signs of snakes...YET!!

Beautiful trail! Easy to find! Water was flowing the entire hike to the heart rock! Kid friendly and dog friendly! Some people on trail are inconsiderate and have their dogs just roaming free! So watch yourselves and pups!

Very peaceful trail! Lots of birds chirping. Trail wraps around the lake on a paved trail (for the most part). Nice picnic area once you make it to other side of lake. Restrooms and covered tables are there for picnicking. Due to recent heavy rains you have to get a little wet to cross the river. I would say this will be is a temporary/seasonal issue. There is a $10 fee to enter the park. CASH ONLY! Surprised nobody has mentioned this to help other hikers to come prepared.

This should probably be listed as MODERATE and NOT "Easy"! Trail was easy to locate. The hike out is completely straight up and will leave you gasping for your breath. The spray paint markers help you stay on course. The river is up due to recent downpours and it's waste deep thru dangerously cold waters. Once your legs are prickly and ready to fall off you will make it across and have no problem stripping down to get in the hot springs. I only noticed 3 pools, but read that there are 4-7...so who knows! People DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TRASH!! This is not downtown L.A. It's amazing and beautiful place to enjoy! Trash, and graffiti will ruin it for generations to come or better yet get us all locked out soon! It's very peaceful to soak in the warm water as the river rushes by you!
