The first half mile of this trail (to Waipo’o Falls parking lot) is just a down and up thru mediocre woods with no views ( and usually very muddy). Just skip it and start hiking at the Black Pipe trail head (corner of Koke’e and Halemanu Roads) down the 4x4 road towards the Waipo’o Falls parking lot. Definitely take the short diversion up to the Cliff Trail Lookout (signs mark the trail). The views are totally worth it.

A pleasant, easy walk to an old picturesque stone dam. Mostly along a flat gravel road thru a mahogany forest. The most picturesque part is the very end. Totally worth the 5 mile round trip walk, which can be done in an hour and a half. Turn left at the first fork (trail sign will point to the right) to go directly towards the dam if you want shorten the total walk (maps along this well marked trail show the way). Recommend for repeat walks.

Short but steep and scenic trail to a very nice small beach (really more of a beach access path than a trail per se). Beach is great for snorkeling and ok for swimming. Secluded and scenic. The trail is poorly maintained and actually somewhat dangerous due to the corroded handrails and shaky ropes for holding on. Access between the two fence rows. Highly recommend

More of an access trail since it is so short. Nice wooded scenery, including a small waterfall. Moderately steep in a few spots. Nice area to explore at the bottom. The only parking is at the resort (everything is marked tow zone, but I didn’t get towed)

A great bike and hiking trail between downtown Two Rivers and downtown Manitowoc. Paved and nicely landscaped. Virtually the entire length hugs the scenic Lake Michigan shoreline. Connects to the Rawley Point Trail in Two Rivers. Numerous points of interest along the way include the West of the Lake Gardens (free!), the USS Cobia submarine at the Wisconsin Maritime Museum, and two pleasant walks out to the Two Rivers and Manitowoc lighthouses.

Excellent trail between the Point Beach State Forest Lodge and Neshota Beach Park in Two Rivers. Great for hiking, biking, and cross country skiing. Forested setting and sand dunes along Lake Michigan. Parts of this trail are collocated with the Ice Age Trail thru Point Beach. A nice pizzeria and bar (Port Sandy Bay) lies along the mid-point of the trail. Connects to several side trails near the Point Beach camp grounds.
