Very nice off-road paved bicycle trail.
Expect to see lots of joggers and cyclists.

Loved this hike! Continuous elevation gives a good workout with beautiful views and well-maintained trail. I was here in May, and the wildflowers were lovely.

Great trail! Clear paths and several options to take. The forest floor is beautiful, although there is a lot of felled timber. It’s the kind of setting where you almost expect to see a hobbit or elf peeking out. Small stream running through and towering pines. Very enjoyable.

    BRING BREADCRUMBS!
Beautiful trail, steep switchbacks, great workout. I would rate it 5 stars if the signs were more frequent AND more accurate. I was lost for about an hour and countless switchbacks (thighs are screaming) due to signs that were totally off. Seriously, you will come to trail forks for three different directions, and signs pointing to each direction but listing the same location. Bizarre! Definitely take a compass and if possible, a topographical map. Good luck!

Very enjoyable! Went on a Monday, so no other visitors around. Nicely cleared trails, lots of wildlife tracks (including bear). My dog enjoyed a lake swim. Fee was $4 on the honor system (put money in envelop and place in slotted box).

Very well marked, cleared path. Not terribly scenic from where I started at Hwy 49, but I suspect the terrain improved further along. I was only able to go part of the way as my canine companion is elderly, but I found it enjoyable. Despite the recent rains, the path was dry, with some swampy areas on either side.

Enjoyable. Part of trail is along the street (Booo!), but remainder of trail was through wooded areas and pleasant. I liked that the bayou overlook was on a wooden platform so I was elevated and the view was good.

Visited 12/11/16. To get there, expect mile after mile of single lane gravel-->then dirt roads. Hopefully you will have 4-wheel drive as there are many ruts and difficult terrain. It had also rained quite a lot a few days ago and my journey terminated when I came to a concrete slab (apparently a rudimentary bridge) that was underwater. I never did find the actual trail area, and came away feeling very frustrated. I used 2 different GPS devices to get there: my iPhone 6+ google maps and my new Garmin vehicle GPS.

Great trail. Went on a weekday, so minimal foot/bike traffic. Probably heavily trafficked on weekends. Trail follows the canal. Scenic. Restrooms available.

Enjoyable. Shaded and peaceful. Easy to follow trails, by large roots, so pay attention where you step. Nice little waterfall.

Well marked and maintained trail with enough ascents/descents to keep it invigorating. Scenic with the fall leaf colors and the Savannah River. I went on a Saturday morning in November, and it was surprisingly devoid of other hikers. The trailhead is a bit misleading as it is sandwiched between private residences while driving to it, and even while doing the initial part of the hike. Persevere--it is worth it.
