This is a great hike with amazing views as you see the paragliders take off from the top. But getting there, it gets steep in some parts but it’s totally worth it. But coming down can be a bit difficult, so take your time. The parking lot getting there can become very crowded because there isn’t a lot of spots, so get there early before the trail/parking spots get taken.

It’s a great hike, but there is no view sadly and I’m a sucker for views.

Mainstream hike when in the Snoqualmie Area. Great hike with beautiful views, but it is WAY too crowded with people going up and coming down, which makes this hike longer than it should be. Plan ahead and go early.

    NORTHWEST FOREST PASS REQUIRED!
This hike is gorgeous from the moment you step onto the trail to when you get to the lake. I went when it was raining and during the weekday (5/14) so it wasn’t busy at all or hot. There were a lot of loose rocks about 2 miles into the hike, which was the difficult part of the hike. I would recommend this hike to anyone, but if your knees or ankles aren’t in the greatest of shape, just be prepared for a lot uneven ground and loose rocks. When you get to the lake, you can go around, but just be careful of the left over snow and ice.
