This is an easy hike around the lake. To get there, just take the parkway off the 101 and turn right at the first street. It costs $5 to enter the Horsefall area (pay at the entrance before driving to the trail head). The trail head is on the left (it is marked by a sign on the right). The full loop is about 1.5 miles round trip and offers views of the lake and a diverse array of plant and fungus life.

This is a well-maintained fairly heavily trafficked trail that allows visitors to view a variety of habitat types. There are tons of mushrooms and other tiny hidden gems, some picturesque scenes of the slough, and a neat walk through a more marshy area with a raised wood trail. Its worth a visit, especially if you like to take photos, but not very strenuous.

This is a fun hike. It is very pretty and wooded with a couple of little brooks crossing the trail. Its an elevation climb of about 1750 feet. If you leave from the designated parking lot along the 101, it's 3 miles to the summit if you go left at the fork about halfway up or 2.5 total if you go right. The summit doesn't provide much of a view, and you can hear the cars on the 101 for the first stretch, but otherwise, it is beautiful, offering amazing views through the trees in a couple of spots.

Beautiful forested uphill trail until you break the treeline, at least during summer. After that, it is rough rock scrambling to the top...and hot/dusty. Stay to the right to stay on the trail, but watch your footing. This trail is not suitable for small children, unless you turn back once it gets rocky. Note: the GPS coordinates on the AllTrails map stops short of the actual park entrance. Keep going and its up on the left with a clearly-marked sign.

I hiked in from the last road closure sign (parked at the turnaround), and this park is still very much accessible (other people drove, though I wouldn't risk it - one of the pictures shows where the right side of the road is washed out when driving in). It is about 1.5 miles from the concrete barriers to the trail heads and each one to the lower falls is a short jaunt. I didn't hit the upper falls trail (maybe next time), but even during this severe drought, both falls were flowing. It is a very pretty area and the trails are not overgrown. There is also a bathroom at the trail head. The directions on the AllTrails app sent me to the right at the split, which only goes to private property (clearly marked no trespassing), so stay to the left where you see the signs for golden and silver falls.

This is a lovely trail that runs through a number of habitat types. The pond is especially serene and Walden-esque. I went on a Friday morning and didn't see anyone else on the trail.

Its not exactly a "trail," but a lovely stretch of coastline with dunes, small waterfalls, driftwood, and a variety of colored stones.
