A nice little trail for a nature hike, not really all that difficult. There was a lot of debris on the trail but the area had been hammered by the remnants of tropical storm Cindy on and off for 2 days prior to our visit so it wasn't surprising. No strenuous inclines to traverse but there are places where rocks or wet feet are the only options for crossing small streams. No big deal and we ran across the caretaker while one the way out and he was very nice and helpful. I'll definitely be back!

What a great trail! It's easy enough for most to complete but there are some extended hill climbs that may be difficult for some. The views are awesome!

A great relaxing hike after doing the summit trail. The summit trail was crowded but I only ran into a few people on the base loop. The trail is well marked in most places but several times the marks had vanished and I was wondering if I was still on the trail or on a dry stream bed. The nature views are great but skip this one if you're seeking isolation. It's too close to highways in some parts and you can hear the traffic flying by. All in all, a nice hike over somewhat rocky terrain that I'll absolutely do again.

A tough climb but well worth the effort for the views. I went on a Wednesday in June and it was still busy but most trails are wide enough to accommodate everyone and you can cross over to both summits regardless of which one you start on (east or west summit trails).

Unsure why this is leveled at moderate and 37.7 miles. This trail is not far from my house and I use it for running often. It is a paved trail with few changes in elevation and round trip is closer to 2.5 miles. There has been an extension on the south side of Washington Ave that I haven't run yet which starts near Case High. All in all, this trail is a nice trek for being in a city. The stream & ponds bring lots of birds and waterfowl. I've run across a few grass snakes (non-venomous) and the usual squirrels & rabbits. This trail is heavily trafficked, being nestled in the middle of several neighborhoods and is used by walkers, runners & bikers.
