Very easy trail that is paved for the majority of the trail. Plenty of runners, bikers, and dogs along the trail.

Very nice and easy trail that we hiked after touring the lighthouse and lighthouse trail. You get a chance to get close to the water and enjoy the scenery around you. The majority is shaded which was nice during the summer time.

VERY buggy during the summer as you are walking around a marsh. Make sure to bring plenty of bug spray and water! It was very confusing to find the end of the trail because it was not clearly marked. It essentially just ended and spat us out at a beach. I'm assuming that they want you to walk down the length of the beach to the right and climb through the marshy area over logs to head back to the starting point of the trail. During the time that we visited, this was in about 6 inches of water. We weren't sure if that was the way we were supposed to be going, but we eventually made it back to where we needed to be.

GREAT hike. Very easy, as it follows a paved road and dirt path directly to the lighthouse.

This is a great hike! A little steep at times, but clearly marked paths make staying on the trail easy. I would recommend hiking this during autumn as the views of the trees that have changed colors is beautiful from the King and Queen's Seat during this time. Get there early, it gets extremely crowded during both weekdays and weekends because it is a short hike,

Heather Jay reviewed Falling Branch Trail to Kilgore Falls

VERY easy trail. It led directly to the waterfalls. You can swim in the water hole and stand underneath the falls. There were a lot of people swimming when we visited. You can also take the trail to go and stand at the source of the falls and overlook the waterfall itself which I would definitely recommend doing.

Great trail! We did the Upper and Lower trails and they were both extremely enjoyable. We went off the beaten path to go and explore the waterfall more closely. There is a trail leading off that will lead you directly to the waterfall itself. We went at the beginning of May and it was pretty empty which was extremely nice!

LOVE this trail! Definitely bring your hiking boots! When we went it was raining off and on and it was a little slippery. We loved scrambling up and down the rocks and admiring the constant scenery surrounding us. Trails were clearly marked and easy to follow, although I would recommend leaving small children at home if you are planning on doing the entire trail.

A great hike! The trail was somewhat steep and the hike is completely uphill, but completely worth the views overlooking the town of Harper Ferry. There were plenty of vantage points that gave you varying views of the town below and beautiful scenery of the Shenandoah below.
