One of my favorites. This can feel longer than it actually is. Lots of hikers today, and climbing to the fire tower is worth it!

Beautiful scenery, very easy, great for kids and visitors. You have to pay the state park fee for Roxborough.

Nice easy hike to see the Bristlecone Trees. Good hike for families with kids.

This was a very challenging hike for myself and my 13 year old. For the first official weekend of summer, there were LOTS of people at Summit Lake and the summit. We didn't do the entire loop-but started at Summit Lake and parked at the summit. Saw some animals, including baby mountain goats!

We hiked in Staunton State Park-took the Mason Creek to Bear Paw up to Eagle Cliff Outlook out and back.. It was a good, moderate hike of about 7 miles. There were a few easy creek crossings, open meadows and the outlook was worth it-great views! $7 day pass, parking was a little crowded, but not bad.

This was more of a moderate than easy hike for me. Nice steady climb to the top. Lots of people and dogs today. Also, there are so many bikers on 103! Probably saw around 100 today. FYI no bathrooms around....

took 1.6 mile Meadowlark trail to Plymouth Creek Trail. After crossing bridge took a right up a very steep and rocky path which eventually leveled out. (those mtn bikers are hard core)! At a 2 mile mark, turned around at the Plymouth Mtn Trail and backtracked along Plymouth Creek. Took a rabbit trail off Plymouth Creek to Grizzly Road which was a good short cut. Saw a one trail runner, 4 mtn bikers, several walkers with dogs. Nice hike.
