2/27/18: It was not as impressive as Big Cedar Mountain but still fun.

2/22/18 Low vegetation on the steep side of the mountain. More moss on the gradual side. very little wildlife. We saw one snake at the pond. We only saw four people on this hike. We still had fun and so did the pup!

Hiked 11/10/17: Beautiful hike with the pup and a friend. I think the only reason it's rated as moderate was the last bit up to the falls. totally worth it for that view. Don't be like us and forget headlamps though. Thank God for smartphones. We utilized the flashlight features to get ourselves back to the parking lot. Even hiking in the dark was peaceful and fun. Great day, great hike!

Perfect hike to hang out and chill at the falls! Dog friendly and not super crowded. it was pleasant and the light was really pretty on all the colorful leaves. Great hike with the pup and a coworker!

Hiked 11/4/17: Went with a group of girls from work and took the pup. It was a great hike! Beautiful color change on the leaves and lots of overlooks into the canyon. All in all, a great hike! Plus, it was really neat watching the fog roll out by mid-morning.
Recommend driving an extra 30 minutes to Chattanooga for Taco Mamacita post hike (vegan & vegetarian friendly, if that's your thing).

Hiked 11/4/17: Good trail. Pretty easy out and back. The water was very low, so not much of a waterfall but it was also fun to walk right up to the falls and explore the cave behind it. Fun for my puppy!

Hiked 10/31/17: I really enjoyed this one. It was beautiful weather and I was the only one on the trail. The leaves are changing into radiant reds and oranges. my pup had a good time as well. There are many opportunities for really unique shots if you have a love of photography, like I do. Easy hike, and relaxing setting with water. I will definitely be going back to hike it again!

Hiked Thursday, 10/26/17: This has been my favorite hike from AllTrails. it was so pleasant and was able to hike three days before it closed for Winter. There always a beautiful view at the base across a small creek and a great view from the first landing of the tower at the top.

It was okay. It's very washed out and difficult to see where the trail is. The climb was pretty steep but didn't feel so bad. I had to use this app a lot to remain on the trail. The view was fun, especially considering you're standing on a cliff.

This trail was awesome! I hiked it August 1 with my dog, and it kicked our asses (in a good way). It was really beautiful in the woods. Once at the treeline, the terrain changed from deep, lush greens to twiggy brush and a steeper climb. Then came the boulder field and that was incredible. It's easy to lose sight of the trail at this point because the cairns to mark the trail are made by a pile of rocks in the boulder field, like finding a needle in a haystack. It took us about five hours to reach the summit and once we did the pup's paws were shredded from the uneven path. The view was insanely beautiful and it felt so good to reach the top. Luckily, there was some trail magic and we got help back to the car. It was a beautiful day, really great weather with the most perfect pup in the world!

It was a really nice trail. The directions were clear and everyone's reviews really made me want to do this trail. The waterfall was beautiful, and the stream crossings made the hot day a more bearable. It was a four- hour round trip for me but worth it.

It's a good trail, and I love the art and that it's dog friendly. I'm not a fan that it's paved and there aren't many dog- friendly restaurants along it.
