Elizabeth Newland reviewed Panther Canyon Nature Trail

This was an easy, beautiful trail. The scenery was great and we saw some wild life (some neat looking bugs, deer and bats). We also saw some people who hung some hammocks in the trees along the trail and families hiking as well. It also seems like a great place to star gaze. I would love to go back.

I don't recommend taking a walk here after 7pm. There were A LOT of snakes. Not sure what kind they were, but it was pretty scary walking back to the car... There were lots of bike riders. I would go back for a bike ride, but not interested in going back for a walk as it wasn't the most scenic. If you like walking on a paved sidewalk, it's probably great before the evening so you don't run into snakes.

It was a beautiful trail. You can pick up a map at the nature center and look around before you hit the trail. The trails are marked and there are some board walks on one of the trails with some great scenery.

The park has very nice scenery and lots of shade. It also has great trails that get out of the busy city. The only down side is you can hear highway traffic in some areas of the pathway. But still so worth going. I will be going back.
