Rich in history is always better with hiking.
Although I'd consider it more urban since it is most paved old road.
    (still better than-just-driving)
The trail markers on this map is off a bit from trail 1* dotted line does the correct trick.
The trail itself has an open area to view Hood but wouldn't do this one more than once every few years.

Was a sweet trail ending to the trail to a Sandy calm area.
Thankfully with the cloudy weather there was only four other people we seen on the trail but I guess it's a super packed trail most the sunny days.
Trail was small but it wasn't overgrown.
A bit hard to see trail marking from the road.

Super simple, they're working on adding more trails this summer.
Bathroom on site which is always handy!

Trillium use to be something of beauty.
Although the view will always be there..
The lake sticks&full of endless dead fish.
There's plenty of trash laying all about.
    Disrespectful.
Besides being so heavy in traffic-any of the multiple lakes with less crowds will suit better!

Super popular trail, seriously the foot traffic.
I'm glad I did it at least once but that will be the last time.
Not a good first starter trail if you're not use to hills.
It only flattens out once you're almost to the smaller, clear lake itself.
Well kept up with trash&the maintenance but like I said-heavy traffic.

past the half cave a ways there's a split where you have a mini Sandy area into a calm pool of water off the river.
simple trail, not too many inclines.
Well kept unless you keep going to pup falls then there's a bit of overgrowth.

    Consider -country urban- trail.
    Gravel, not dirt, not paved.
The end I expected a bit more of a wow factor..maybe even a picnic table.
But good for bike riders, joggers, stroller (if you have a 3 air tire one), dogs, walking.
Cute little side trail that runs along the river is the best part.

    Updated the play area.
    Great spot.
    Clean bathrooms.

Eldo Bri reviewed Bagby Hot Springs Trail

    The worse one.
In man built wood tubs that feel slimy, water is only warm for so long before you need to leave dump&refill.
Some private rooms with a single log tub.
I mean it's not the greatest, crime is popular not only in the parking lot but within the trail&the tubs.
Nudist is also a strong possibility to view a lot of..

Austin (keep driving past bagby) it's all natural &has the rock built walls to locate prime spot.
    More secluded.
    Better*
