Love this area and hike. You can really go so many different ways up here and find a lot of different places to explore and shot photos or just swim and relax. Little pools everywhere. Amazing rock canyons, little waterfalls all over and the big one of course with the little cave and multiple falls. Be careful the rocks are slippery and it is very dangerous around the falls. My dogs loved this area we went back at night to shoot night pics and had fun then too. I know there's been some bad Hingis with flash floods here so I made sure and you should make sure to check the radars around as you're about to head there. Be extra safe it can't hurt!

Great spot! The trail is easy to find. The road isn't that bad getting there. I camped in the 1st campsite right on the river with my travel trailer. Took my truck down the road along the river which is a nice drive. Only a a few miles. Some a little rough but most of it is basic off road. This time of year no one was out there. The trail is easy to find. You can take whatever route you want in the different trails along the river. You can't get lost. Yes you have to cross the river a lot. Water is low this season so it was easy. The massive canyon walls are amazing. Very awesome I enjoy as you walk. The waterfall is flowing great right now despite no rain I was impressed!

Well I did this hike at night. By myself. It was intense out there middle of the night but I wanted to shoot pics under the stars. Pic is posted so check it out. The hike isn't too bad at all. Unless it's really hot out then I could imagine it being miserable. Having a 4wd truck helped a lot being able to drive to the trail head. Just be careful climbing up the steep rocks.

DO NOT TAKE THIS DRIVE. About 7 miles in, on a crazy cliff there was a rock slide. Unless you have a razor or quad. You can't make it in a truck. I had to reverse up the cliff and it was truly intense. I have a branda new toyota tacom trd sport 4by4 lifted and this road was insane still. But it's not doable now. Just take the long hike

I did this trail on January 31st. It is an amazing trail. Of course pretty easy going down the mountain. There was snow at the top when we started. It gets rocky going down. The whole time thinking going back was going to be tough. I took my two dogs. Pit bull mixes and they're great hikers so they made the hike ok. But I wouldn't recommend taking dogs who don't hike a lot or in the summer. It took about an hour to get down to the falls. I was there all alone for about 2 hours. Was warm and hot in the canyon so I was able to swim which was awesome. The place is definitely a reward and worth the hike back up. I broke this down into 1 mile pieces and took a little break. Take your time going up, it's no joke.
