Small trails but link with city street or sidewalk runs and Grant park trails or lakefront make perfect starting point. But run off times to avoid crowds. Great city views. Parking garage beneath the park is perfect... or park along lakefront up north at Montrose harbor for a longer run down to Grant Park area.

Easy run, mostly well paved, flat, scenic and mostly uncrowded. Challenge yourself and swim river and bike the route for a mini triathalon! Bring your kayak or rent one along the way for more fun.

the 4 mile in and 4 miles back out distance is relatively flat but some uneven ground makes it a little more challanging than a crushed gravel path. It is not boring but does not offer spectacular views. It is reasonable workout, mostly shaded... worst thing was that horseflies can be annoying at times. There is a bathroom at trailhead and a canoe rental.

Good trail for running, watch your step thru the rocky areas... Crowded when weather is good and afternoon on weekends or holidays... lots of kids and dogs... The last 1/2 mile of the ascent is a challenge to run.... good luck.

Great trail run from downtown Gatlinburg...well groomed trails, pretty river views for 90% of it. Then finish with visiting the headless horseman and stop for a sample of whiskey.
