Nice trail, rocky in many places so recommend trekking poles if you prefer more stability. The falls are beautiful! Due to heavily trafficked trail, we picked up a lot of strangers' trash along the way to keep our beautiful mountains clean and litter free. We hike as a family so this was a nice trail for both kids and adults.

Amazing, amazing trails that lead to the back-end of Cades Cove. The vegetation, landscape and ecosystems found on these trails are different than other areas in the smokies. Many areas of the trail are wide and more muddy than rocky. If you go just after rain, be prepared to get dirty. If you get a good start early in the day, you can make it to Abrams Falls from this location, but know you will have quite the trek up and down many tall hills. Highly recommend!

Moderately easy, short hike - we went just after fall so many leaves covered the trail and made for a slippery outing, but other than that the views of both the Smokies and Maryville/Alcoa are amazing.

Great hike - many downed trees on the trail due to recent high winds, but it added to the spirit of adventure. Recommend trekking poles or a walking stick if you need extra stability on a rocky surface.
