Rode my mountain bike here on Aug. 3, 2016. Great easy going trail. Rides along essentially a dirt road all the way to the dam. Very wide path and relatively flat. Not really a "mountain bike" ride, more of a pleasure ride that allows for looking around and enjoying the surroundings.

If you continue past the dam area and across the cattle grate, the path continues following around the dam and then starts tracking along the river. Path gets a little rougher at some points (more like 4x4 driving than dirt road). I took the path all the way to the point that it departs from the river (bends to the right - you can see it on the AllTrails map with GPS). Made for a nice long ride and the flowing river was nice too.

Overall I'll do this again when I'm looking for a relaxing ride with no technical riding whatsoever.

Mountain Biked on Aug. 3, 2016. Overall was a fun trail. Very convenient parking and easy to find trail head. The trail was nice and smoothe with minor to no technicalities to figure out. Well kept trail for about the first half, then gets very overgrown - shoulder high at some parts. Few minor scratches on hands and shins that gloves / long sleeves and longer socks could have prevented. There's a point where the trail is so overgrown that it becomes unrideable. If you don't see what I'm talking about, the thorny blackberry bushes will tell you real quick. The downhill is fun - can go pretty quickly and whip through the brush. The uphill is such a low grade you can hardly tell you're going uphill. I'll definitely do it again, but next time will be a bit more covered up and will definitely stop *before* the blackberry bushes, not in them.
