Great hike to go on a nice day, unfortunately it poured on the way back, but I loved it. Awesome views of the lakes and a nice big waterfall I didn't know was up there. Keep an eye out for stacked rocks as it is very easy to lose the trail at times, the rest is well marked. It's only due to the time of year I am sure, but I was hiking up a small stream almost the entire time so bring good boots as it can be slippery. Once the rain hit on the way back it was like hiking in a creek; good times. Well worth the trip and getting soaked. The last thing to know is you will need to pick up a permit to hike this trail in the normal summer months.

Great hike and exercise; if you take the trail to the end you will run into a house just beyond a camp ground. I'm glad I hiked the whole thing for the exercise, but not for the hike; the hike was nice, but tons of poison oak everywhere; i'm glad I wore pants. Lot's of up and down and the first part of the hike down to the foot bridge which is also the last part of the hike is quite the challenge after 6 or 7 miles of hiking. I personally loved the challenge, but I would not recommend this hike for your average hiker or kids; it's a tough climb out.

Super easy trail and well marked. Nice for a stroll, but wouldn't head here if you really want to do some hiking. This trail is more for bird watching and just getting outdoors.

I have been on this hike twice now and it is a good hike and even better workout. The waterfall is awesome and the platform is perfect for viewing. I even got top gunned by someone in an air force jet. You know the scene where Maverick dose the fly by and the General spills his coffee. I didn't spill my coffee, but that jerk had to be messing with me, he couldn't of been more than 100 feet overhead.

Great hike and one I have done many times. It's easier to cross over the bridge and hike up the north side of the trail. I prefer to take the south side of the trail which is a lot harder and makes this hike a very difficult one, I nicknamed going this way the (stairway to hell) hike it once and you'll know what I mean. Also, if you start on the north side you can go straight up for the view and turn back if you don't want to do the whole 5 miles. I usually take a less experienced hikers up and down on the north side. Not a lot of shade and it can get hot in the summer so bring a hat or just get up early and plan on being done by noon.

This is a good hike and it's put together really well. The issue is that it's more for horses and bikers. If that's what you do, this place is great. If you're more of a hiker like myself there are better places to go. I will say that it would make a good spot for a family as most of the trails are easy and none of them are difficult. Nice park, but I won't be back unless I decide to get a mountain bike.
