Trail is not marked like everyone said, but with the tips everyone gave below it was rather easy to find. I only saw 1 orange gate & I went through it. Turn left and then keep your eye on the cave and you simply can't get lost. Trust me... I get lost going everywhere but this wasn't hard at all to figure out. It is VERY steep coming down and I fell & scratched up myself a bit. And that was with good hiking shoes so be careful. It was a great challenging work out & the cave was AMAZING!!!!!

This mountain gets your heart rate up from your first few steps'. Love it!

Good hike, however I would rate it moderate to hard, but definitely not "easy". There's a couple times you have to literally climb rocks by pulling yourself up which I wasn't used to doing. You will burn a ton of calories and lots of good inclines. Overall great hike!!

Did the Javelina Trail 2 days in a row. Love it. Lot's of inclines so your glutes get a good work out. It's easy to get lost on the trail unless you do it a couple of times or so. Saw horses & lots of dogs on the trail. Javelina turns into RL (Ridge Line) and then back into Javelina. The signs stop after a while and pick back up so you have to figure it out. Plenty of people on the trail to ask. When I didn't get lost, it took about 1.5 hours give or take to do the trail. There's a cliff that scared me a bit, but not too bad. I have done the trail 3 times in the past 3 weeks and it's a great workout!
