This was my wife and I's first time here. Being from Southern California, we had no idea what to expect and let me tell you, we were blown away. The moss trail is very easy but has so many eye catching things from the moss to mushrooms, bugs, and of course the many trees standing and fallen. On your way into to park do yourself a favor and take the time to pull over and take in the breathtaking water attractions.
Great place to spend some quick time or camp out.

This hike was awesome. It took a long time and is not easy. If you are out of shape but are mentally tough you can do it. Once you get to the top and can see lake Elsinore it will make it all worth the pain. Bring lots of water and make sure to leave early before it gets really hot. The decent will kick your butt with the steep switchbacks so be ready. Last but not least, the mountain bikers on the trail that we experienced were not concerned with the hikers at all so beware. If you can hack it, you won't regret it!

Good beginner hike. Offers a bit of everything from rocks to falls and brisk hike. Go early to avoid high peak traffic.
