    great for whole family

Especially rewarding on a clear day. Views of Rainier are spectacular on way up (make sure to look behind you every so often and you'll see what I mean) and when you get to the saddle you can see Mt Adams, Mt Saint Helens and Mt Hood too. Avalanche Lilies we're in full bloom too!

Top notch and rewarding at every turn. Difficult to do in one day but I've done it twice and will do it again. I think most people do this in a few days but I had no overnight permits. I love this place, it is magical. I would highly recommend hiking down kaibab and up bright angel because water refill stops are only on bright angel trail and you will need it especially if it's warm outside.

beautiful! Great for kids and grandparents.

steady climb up, great work out for your quads! Go on a clear day and you will see Vancouver Island, the Strait of Juan De Fuca and of course all of Lake Crescent. If you want to get all the way to top safely wear shoes with very good traction. The 5 rope assists on the last few hundred feet of trail were also huge help on a very slippery and steep terrain.

l loved this hike. I went Soilders pass over to Brins Mesa which seemed to be not as difficult as starting at Brins Mesa trailhead (much more uphill). It starts out by taking you to Devil's Sink Hole and Seven Sacred Pools which was great. A gradual climb to pass with great vistas. Not too terribly busy either which was nice. Parking was the only issue. Tiny lot at Soilders Pass trailhead so get there early.

Great little hike. I did with my two older parents and they like it. trail can be a bit confusing in spots because of other trails intersecting but it's also hard to get lost. Very small parking lot.

Didn't like walking along a dirt road that the Jeep's and other off road vehicles also used. It was about a third of the hike. Had to stop and let them pass often. Crowds on a Monday! Had to wait in line (yes you read that right) to get pic on top of Devil's bridge. Beautiful but not a fan of all the people. Kinda knew that going in, didn't think it would be quite that much though. Still a must do if you're in Sedona.

Took my older parents, they loved it. A beautiful, easy walk. I continued on past the maintained trail. You can climb up along a cliff line and it does not disappoint. The view is spectacular, you can even see Bell Rock in the distance.
