This is my favorite set of waterfalls in North Georgia. Wear water-friendly hiking footwear, and use at least one hiking pole or good stick for all the crossings (I've seen even the most confident crosser get soaked without one). I've hiked 16 miles of the trail over 3 days, and other 5-8 miles segments over 2-3 days, allotting plenty of swim time. You can jump about 30 feet into the pool at the bottom of the main falls.
