Christopher McKeegan reviewed Little Falls Trail

Awesome short trail with a steady incline. To get to the trail, park in the upper parking lot and just follow the unmarked trail at the end that runs parallel to the road. As others have posted, the waterfall area is covered in graffiti. There are plenty of flowers on the way though and today threre are DOZENS of Spring Mountains Icarioides Blue. I thought they were the Mt. Charleston Blue, but realized they weren't after taking a closer look at my pictures. I saw more than a few Western Tiger Swallowtail and Carole's Silverspot, and one Nevada Admiral.

This trail is really for people who want to rock climb. There's really nothing to report about the trail itself, it's super short with not much to see.

An incredible trail! A good steady climb, but nothing strenuous. Lots of trees, still some snow on the ground, birds singing... just a great trail all around. I didn't go through Lower Bristlecone because it's said to be boring.

Quick and easy trail. There's definitely a climb to the top, but anyone can make it. My corgi had no problem going up.

Great trail that has multiple paths throughout the canyon. You can make this as difficult or easy as you want. Dogs can make it to the end here, but it all depends on your dogs personality. My corgi is very gung ho and made it to the waterfall, but she had to picked up a few times. Be cautious though as her paws did get scraped up a little bit while sliding on some of the boulders. If you have dog booties or a bigger dog, they should have no problem.

Late review as this is for March 4, 2018. The falls were frozen solid and it was an amazing sight to see.

Incredible hike! This is definitely a challenge if you've never scrambled or used ropes before (like me). It helps if you go with a group so you can each other down and up. The hot springs are amazing and making it to the river is very rewarding.

Amazing trail! Very steep but the views are worth it. The clouds moved in about halfway up unfortunately and while it was fun to hold in the clouds, the view from the top was just grey in every direction. I'll definitely be coming back in the Spring!

Excellent trail that intersects with a few other trails in the area. the trails are not very intersections aren't marked, so keep your map out to make sure you stay on the right trail. There's a lot of green behind Mount Wilson and it's all beautiful. This trail is also outside of the Scenic Loop, there's a parking lot right at the start of trail so there's no fee. Such a nice trail! Very easy and very flat with the smallest amount of climbing at the end. The pond was cool to see, too.

Great, easy trail! Short but very nice and scenic. I was able to get to both mines without any problem. February 11th, 2018.
