Christine Kruse reviewed Broads Fork Trail

This is a steep hike, averaging 1000 feet of elevation gain per mile. It's a hike to a meadow, not to a peak. You should know the meadow when you get there, it's beautiful. I could have sat up there for hours, but had to come down to get to work. While strenuous, definitely recommend.

My favorite slot canyon hike yet. Bell Canyon wasn't all that interesting. Little Wildhorse was amazing. The next time I do this hike, I'll just go up Little Wildhorse and turn around at the top. I'd rather see the amazingness of Little Wildhorse twice than drudge through Bell and the connector trail.

Be aware there is a lot exposure to the sun in parts of this hike. Bring plenty of water.

It is a bit much to call this a hike. It is essentially a side walk. Cool arch though. Worth the trip, especially if you are camping at Kodachrome.

The cavern at the end is fantastic and the views along the way are well worth it.

Be aware this is a very very exposed, hot hike. Carry plenty of water.

Fun little trail that gives you the option of exploring a few box canyons.

Probably the best trail in Kodachrome. Expansive views, interesting rock features. If you only do one trail in Kodachrome, it should be this one.

Easy access to a slot canyon as you can walk right in. It's very popular and apparently horse traffic is allowed because the slot was filled with horse poop. It was a fun, easy hike.

This trail offers decent vista views but the arch is nothing to get excited about. For a challenge at the end, one can take the slickrock cut-off (it's marked). Almost stepped on a rattlesnake, so be wary that they like this trail.

Combined this loop with Peakaboo. If you want to thoroughly experience the area, I'd recommend it.

This was a good trail but it's exposed and there are many better options in Bryce.

Fantastic trail with significantly less traffic than some of the other hikes in this area. We did the loop counter clockwise as the climb looked easier that way. Well worth your time. We started at Sunset point.

A great early season hike. I wouldn't want to do this hike on a hot day in full sun as it's fairly exposed. One of the easiest peak hikes you can do in the Wasatch!

Great, challenging hike. There is still a lot of mud and water on the last mile. I saw 5 people with significant injuries Sunday. All of them were wearing sneakers or sandals. You absolutely need hiking boots on this trail in it's current state.
