Nice easy trail to the beach. Not a lot to see but the beach was gorgeous!

Nice trail ! Very strange landscape. Saw a lot of frogs and slugs . There’s an epic canyon a little past the half way point , best view I saw of the whole area. The medicine trail part was pretty bland, nothing but tall grass. I personally would skip the medicine trail and stay only on the castle trail the whole time.

Awesome trail! It was super duper wet and muddy when I went , it had rained the day prior. At one point I was almost waist deep in water when you cross the creek (numerous times). The views were absolutely amazing though ! Also ran into a herd of bison , probably 80 bison were about 1 mile from the end. Spent a while watching them and then looped this trail back to jones creek trail. I’d for sure hold off on this one if it recently rained though , I was walking/sliding about 1 mile per hour hahaha !

Great trail ! Beautiful scenery and saw a ton of prairie dogs ! It had just rained so it was super muddy , but well worth it.

Not what I’d call an amazing trail , but it was for sure a good relaxing hike ! Saw probably 10 bison , 300+ prairie dogs, lots of interesting bugs, etc. Wind cave was closed for 2 months so this was a good trail to make up for not seeing the cave!

Awesome trail ! Pretty boring for the first 3 miles but then you start to see some of the thermal areas. Very strange red bubbling vents and little mini volcano looking vents. The lake was gorgeous , only a few people out there.

PLEASE READ THIS PART! At about mile 6 you will find a bridge with around 1 ft of creek water flowing beneath it. Some guy told me it was 100 degree water and is great to relax in. I just got in my underwear and laid in this hot spring for almost 30 minutes. If felt amazing , first hot bath I’ve had in over a month haha! It’s only about 1 foot deep so you have to lay totally flat if you want to get submerged in the water . This was definitely my favorite part of the trail !

Amazing trail ! Just total beauty from beginning to end. I didn’t do the boat ride, I just parked at a “boat launch “ trailhead about 1.5 miles away and walked to the canyon. Saw pikas , a deer family , lots of awesome bugs. One of the nicest hikes I’ve done , I smiled the whole way.

Awesome trail ! Lot of people out here but the woods were beautiful and the lake was tip top! Make sure to get there early. I got there at 10am and had to park a mile away and hike and extra 2 miles total.

Very easy trail , not a lot to see but it’s a great quiet trail if you want to get away from the crowds. Only saw 4 people the whole hike.

Chris Woodling reviewed Highline Trail - Logan Pass to Granite Park Chalet

I was a little disappointed in this trail just because the views are pretty much the same as you get while on the road. I went to the chalet and there was nothing any different than the entire trail to see. I hiked a little more up to the glacier trail , and that was amazing ! About 1 mile before the chalet, turn right and go up .6miles and you can see a glacier and some lakes. That was worth the hike! Also saw tons of marmots , a long horn ram, and a mountain goat. The ram was 10 ft from the trail ! Also I started at 9am Tuesday morning , got one of the last parking spots. The first 4 miles of the trail had people everywhere , I passed probably 300 people before I got the the chalet. Hard to enjoy the nature with so many people in your personal space. Still a great trail though !

Trail was pretty repetitive, same sights almost the whole way to the top. But lord almighty the view from the top was amazing! Almost didnt look real. I’ve been hiking in the national parks for a month now and this was the hardest hike I’ve done , it was brutal.

Chris Woodling reviewed Sunrise Ridge Trail to Mount Angeles

Very awesome trail! However the incline on the last mile is extreme. Even with hiking poles I fell about 8 times. Loose dirt plus a super steep trail is almost impossible not to fall on. The view from the top was amazing , you can even see Canada up there.

Beautiful trail ! A horrible cloud rolled in around noon and so I couldn’t see anything most of the hike but it was still really nice !

Hiked only half of this since it started getting a bit repetitive around mid way point , but it was a beautiful trail! Saw a lot of banana slugs and ate about 6 handfuls of wild blackberries. At around the 2 mile mark , look for the berries on the sides of the trail , they went on for about a mile. Really nice views out in the creek too.

Gorgeous trail! I started counter clockwise and did the cave first (it was later in the evening ) . Very pretty views and the high peaks area was absolutely amazing ! I had no idea this park was going to be so pretty

Very tough trail , had to stop numerous times. The views on the way up were pretty bland but the very top was amazing ! Keep in mind , whoever first hiked this trail didn’t go to the top , the red line to follow stops before the summit . To get to the overlook , it took me about an hour extra of hiking/climbing . There also is no visible trail to the summit up there , you just have to wing it. I was the only person that was at the top.
