A beautiful, short hike with lots of places to go explore. Many places to camp along the way.

Nice, easy trail and that is very accessible and will look nice in the fall. Great for kids!

Fantastic trail that has it all: great views, camping and moderate-level hiking.

Great, short hike to the bottom of the falls. If you're willing to get a little wet, there are plenty of areas to explore.

Awesome waterfall, but because of it's proximity to the road, it's super busy. A must-see if you're in the area, though!

One of the best hikes in MO. Great water feature in the middle section. Lots of inclines and declines.

Nice place for a walk or some photography. $10 for a day pass is a bit steep, though.

Only did a short portion, but found a set of fossilized teeth within a mile of the trail head. Super fun, but bring an extra set of clothes.

Did this trail last night. I only saw three people the whole way and throughly enjoyed my time at the top for sunset. Got to do some photography in peace and quiet!

Great city park near downtown. Sidewalk area is open to joggers and walkers only. Bikes only permitted on the road. Many times of the year, they close the park to cars just to let the people enjoy without worrying.

Definitely touristy- but, it's a cool place to visit. Walking down the stairway is a must-do.

Starts off slow along a dirt road. Be aware of cars. Eventually, you'll come to the falls. Unfortunately, when I went, it was packed.

A short little walk around a decent-sized alpine lake. However, after some significant snowfall, it becomes an awesome place to snowshoe.

Love this hike. This park is one of the best kept secrets in Colorado. Come for the hikes, stay for the sunset!

Absolutely incredible views. Take a look at the car parking/mandatory shuttle schedule on Aspen's website before you go. Also, if it's anytime near fall season, you'd better plan on getting there well before sunrise to get away from crowds!

Only did half of the trail with my pregnant wife, but it was incredible the entire time. We woke up before sunrise and rode our bikes to the trailhead. Sunrise over the canyon is something out of this world.

Chris Barnard reviewed Niedrach Nature Trail and Gazebo Boardwalk

This is one of the best trails in Barr Lake State Park. The boardwalk is a neat area to see birds and walk through giant trees. There are a lot of mosquitos both during high water and in autumn/fall when water recedes, so beware of that.

Went last week. This is a nice, easy hike that passes through areas of dense forest. There were still yellow leaves on the trees and we brought our 7m and 2y old in the backpacks with no issues. Flat ground with a handful of slight inclines. Nice area for a short dayhike.

Chris Barnard reviewed The Loch Lake Trail

Thoroughly enjoyed this hike. 5.7 miles and a nice, moderate, dayhike. Got to pass by Alberta Falls- be prepared for it to be busy. Great views as you ascend and the lake itself is beautiful.

Absolutely loved this trail. Started at the Bear lake trailhead and made my way around the other lakes to end at this one. A nice and easy hike to a breath-taking mountain lake. Will definitely go again.
