Very short trail leading to some good views. Not really a hike, but worth doing if you are on the island.

Good trail with enough of an elevation climb to make it feel like a good hike. The views from the top are wonderful. You could add this on if doing the Fray Peak trail and add on 1.5 miles. No bugs, but warm in early August with no shade. Go early in the day if doing in the heat of summer.

Great biking trail that connects with many other trails. Saw great birds, turtles, and more. Overcast foggy day but great on the trail. No charge for parking in the State Park. Bathrooms and air station along the trail.

Easy hike/walk around Jordan Pond. Parking was easy early in the morning, however was filling up by the time we finished. The lake views are wonderful with such clear water and the Bubbles in view. Heard the loons, but they kept out of sight.

Loved this trail! We started out at 7 am and it was already getting busy. We went up Precipice, then down around to Orange and Black. The boulders at the beginning had to be gone through again on the way down. My legs were jello on the way down. I hike a lot of moderate hikes much longer than this, but this is very steep and more climbing than the Beehive and more than I expected. Short but challenging hike with an amazing payoff at the top. Do not take younger kids or attempt if you are afraid of heights. .

The Bowl was great to see. We did it as our way down after Beehive Trail. Nice add on after the summit.

Nice easy loop with good views from Great Head Summit. We did it after Beehive Trail so it was a great cool down after that amazing hike.

Great easy hike for taking photos and seeing some of the best of Acadia.

This is a great hike! We did the Beehive trail and returned on the Bowl Trail We headed out at 8 am on a Thursday. We let a young couple pass us before we got to the iron steps but did not see anyone else until the summit. Great views up there. It is short so we did the Great Head Loop after.
