I guess I came on a good day! First off, 7 miles round trip from trailhead. First cross of the creek is a good halfway point. Very clean trail. Passed about a half dozen folks going in and another half dozen going out. About a dozen at the falls while I spent an hour chilling. Very well maintained and clean trail and falls area. Hiked alone but could've taken my dog and children. Only a few moments on the trail where a fall would've resulted in injury. The last mile or so is tricky with some maneuvering over rocks and across some water but overall very straightforward. Loved it. Reminded me of an Hawaiian trail with its vegetation, diversity of terrain and ultimate payoff of the falls at the end. It's a must hike if you're within 100 miles. Do not skip this trail!!

We hiked the north and south rim Trail's including the climb down to cross over the suspension bridge and also the quarter mile past the interpretive center towards inspiration point. We did a half this hike with a dog and the entire hike with an eight and 10-year-old children. It was a moderate to strenuous hike if you take into account the climb down to the suspension bridge and then back up in addition to the climb up to inspiration point. Overall covering all the ground you can't hike more than 3 to 3 1/2 miles. It is an awe inspiring hike with gorgeous views throughout. Highly recommend.

Steep climb down and back with more than 250 stairs to a nice landing near a waterfall at the bottom. Short hike, nice leg workout. Well maintained as is all the Black Rock Mtn state park. Recommended for all ages and pets.

Fantastic views on a semi challenging hike. Going counter clockwise will take you 1.5 miles to get to the summit and then a few more overlooks of breathtaking beauty. Well worth your time and fun for all ages and pets. Highly recommend.

Beautiful little spot. More of a walk then a hike. Nice place to swim and enjoy the day.

Loved it. If you start going south of the visitors center and end passing the stone house you spend the first 4 miles under good cover. The last 1-1.5 miles are in the sun (of shining). Great hike, not to strenuous and full of good historical landmarks and info boards. Highly recommend.

Gnarly hike. Completed 6.1 mi loop with 2 kids (7&9) in 4 hrs. Approached summit via 112/Freeman/AT. Not for the faint of heart. Tough hike but paid off in full with gorgeous views from the top of Blood Mtn. Recommend highly.
