By far my favorite hike! I loved that this trail followed a creek most of the way- as I love being near water. There were lots of places to stop and swim at too, some harder to get to than others. Since the area is so close to water, many of the rocks were slippery. Be sure to pack good, sturdy hiking shoes because with the combination of slippery rocks and a rough trail it is easy to slip. There are some narrow parts to the trail that have sheer drop offs right next to them so I can't stress enough how important it is to have good shoes.

It gets a little challenging at times but it was a lot of fun!!

I only did the first falls of this trail. It was very steep and very busy. It was hard to stop and catch your breath because of all the people behind you.

The falls were beautiful but a huge rock fell from the top into the water below. After that most of the people left.

I probably will not go back because I think there are better falls in the area that aren't as busy.

The falls were barely flowing, which was a little disappointing but it was a nice way to top off my stone door hike!

Also, it is all stairs so beware!

The ONLY reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because I personally like trails with water better. The views from the overlooks were amazing. It was everything that I thought it would be. The "stone door" is really cool but unless you are going to take another trail or just feel like going down the stairs, I wouldn't recommend it. My friend and I went town the stone stairs anticipating something awesome at the bottom, only to fine more stairs. We caught a couple comping up and we asked what was down there and they told us 9/10ths of a mike down more stairs, there was another trail. We did Laurel falls behind the ranger station too, and we were a little disappointed since the falls were barely flowing.

I will definitely do this trail again in the fall!!

Very well marked trail. There are lots of little side trails you can take down to the water too. My friend and I swam for a bit and hang out around one of the falls. There were lots of people walking around but still was a great hike!

Easy if you follow main trail, moderate if you go off in the side trails.

This waterfall was beautiful!! My friend and I decided to skip broadtree falls on this hike since we didn't know how far a way it was. When we got to the bottom of greeter falls I think we were both in awe! The water is almost crystal clear and there are lots of big rocks to sit around in. It looked like something out of a movie. I would highly recommend this to someone who was a short hike but wants to be able to swim around too.

My mom and I took our dogs out here and we loved it! It has some steep parts to it but overall we thought it was more of a moderate hike.
