A nice walk around the lake mostly asphalt. When geece are migrating it becomes spectacular, the lake is full of the beautiful creatures.

Yes, it’s a ski mountain in winter but the forest trails are separate from skiing and open for hiking or snowshoeing. Easy and pleasant.

Extraordinary views!! 2 hr hike to the summit. Started at the express trail, rated difficult because it’s a steep uphill, then joined the Pichard the rest of the way.
A more moderate trail is le Pichard starting from the bottom to the summit.

Great hike with a lot of diversity. The cables were necessary

From the parking at the end of rue Girourd, follow the red and white tags, sometimes red and white painted on trees, indicating Sentier des Trotteurs, to the antenna at the summit of Mont St Michel, once you get to the summit, there’s a picnic table and great view of Victoriaville. You can go back down the same way you came up or take the trail at the right of the table, it’s shorter.
Going up It can be considered moderate because of some steep uphill, with some cables to help, but take your time and its an hour and a half loop. I love this trail and do it often because I live a few minutes away. Quite a few other trais to bring you to the Mont Arthabaska belvedere also.

I took the #3 trail so it was a steep and rocky incline but a good experience. The first view point at the top was great but there are three more that follow one to the next that are awesome.

The forest is really robust and diverse. A constant climb for 5k to the round top with a lot of loose rock and solid rock stairways; a true hiking exercise. The round top has three view points “WoW” Beautiful!
We visited Spruce Lake on the way back, serene, lovely.
    Great hike!

Park at the end of rue Giruard instead of the top where the Pavilion is. Follow the trail marked with red and white indicators "le Sentier des Trotteurs"
steep rising at times and some cable ropes to help at the top. Great exercise and plenty of forest. The trees are marked red and white squares for the trail.
