Always a nice time there. Swimming is possible but could be cold because it doesn't get sunlight. I thought the trails were well marked. It's an intermediate hike. Nice little stop for the Hanes valley trail too.

Nice little hike with a great view. Getting too crowded though in the weekend in the summer

Always a blast doing this. Have done it multiple times. It's a fun hike. I would say it is comparable to grouse grind but with a little bit of chain section. Do it early for the parking space and for the view. If you are an experienced hiker, you can watch the sunset and make it back down before it gets dark.

Did it last weekend, I would have to agree with all the reviews. It is equivalent to 2 grouse grinds and one 500 m rock scrabble with a really high elevation gain at the end of the hike. The end hike is really steep and very technical...some parts are washed out which made me a little worried about going down. But, it's doable. The hike back down is a knee killer. Bring trekking poles if you have bad knees. If you don't have purifying tabs, 3 L would do you well. That would be on the safe side. I brought 4 L but, only used 3L. I would recommend doing it around August or September. Drier and less mosquitos and horse flies. Also, the lake will be swimmable if you get up there at the hottest time. However, it's still cold. Bring a light jacket or sweater to keep you warm after. The spectacular view makes up for the gruelling hike. I would do this again.

Probably one of a few secluded areas to go camp in. There is limited camping ground but one spot, which we were fortunate enough to have, has a great set up with tables and everything. Recommend to hike and camp up there.

This is more of a 'through a valley hike' lost of variety in terrain. Lots of up and down hiking. The change of forest composition is great between deep cove and Lynn valley. Hard to find the connection at Lynn valley. There are several spots where you can see views.

Like everyone is saying, it is modified stairs. Great for a fitness workout. However, it is not so much of a scenic hike. You have a view at the end and some glimpse along the way. Still not a bad hike.
