Cameron Schambre reviewed Havasu Falls and Mooney Falls Trail

Maybe the hardest hike I’ve ever done. Going down was no problem got it done in under 3hrs. Going back up on the other hard... not fun.. all in all so worth it and wouldn’t change the hike for anything.. by far the most aging waterfalls I’ve ever seen

Cameron Schambre reviewed Red River Gorge End-to-End

Red river gorge is a beautiful geological site. There are ton of cool natural rock arches and the red river was beautiful. Trail were moderately challenging with a lot of up and down. Camp site were hard to come by you really need to do some reaching off the trail to find something that works. All n all it was a great trip!

Cameron Schambre reviewed Sand Lakes Quiet Area

Pretty awesome little quiet area. We had the whole place to ourselves. So if you different lakes all very nice, clear with sandy beaches! Anyone looking for a nice overnight hike with a beautiful lake this is your spot!

Cameron Schambre reviewed Deam Wilderness 19 Mile Loop Slackpack

This trail was rather boring. The bottom part of the loop runs right next to the road for much of the trip. Fairly easy with minimal elevation and little wildlife. I suggest hiking deeper into the deam wilderness. More wildlife and a little better scenery. However if your mushroom hunter this Trail offers numerous different species of mushrooms.

Cameron Schambre reviewed Hoist Lakes Foot Travel Area

Hoist is the perfect for a day, overnight or weekend backpacking trip. One of my favorite places to clear my head with a quick over night. Hoist offers a many different lakes for floating or fishing. Trail are very groomed and marked with blue blazers. There are a ton of different campsite around all of the lakes so you will definitely get the peace and quite your looking for.

Cameron Schambre reviewed Sipsey Wilderness Trail System

The Sipssey is an amazing wilderness with so much to see. The huge rock cliffs, waterfalls, caves, and rivers make for some awesome scenery with tons to explore. We went on a whim because of the weather and I couldn't have been happier with the choice. My favorite backpacking destination so far!

Cameron Schambre reviewed The Manistee River Trail

Great backpacking or day hike location! The trails at Manistee have lot to offer, there are manny little stream and river crossings, bluffs with some amazing views of the river, and even a few small waterfalls. We did see a lot of backpackers and hikers throughout our stay but there were plenty of campsites sprinkled all over and far enough apart so you weren't camping on top of each other

Cameron Schambre reviewed Zaleski State Forest Day Loop Trail

If you're looking for some peace and quiet, a little solitude... find a different park! Trails were keep up nice but there wasn't a whole lot to see. We ended up taking part of our second day to explore moonville tunel. By far thr coolest part of the park... But again there were peopele everywhere. My best advice don't backpack in Ohio!
