Beautiful hike. I did it in about 8 hours round trip. Once you get to the Garnet Canyon, the trail gets real steep and technical. A quarter mile from the lower saddle, there's an incredibly scary rope to climb, but it's definitely manageable. Overall a great hike. Also, I would say it's probably more like 14 miles.

It was challenging, but mostly because of how slippery it was through the woods. It was definitely a fun trail once you got above the treeline, which was only a quarter mile but felt longer. It was unfortunately foggy at the summit, and there wasn't much of a view, but a little further down below the clouds you could see a decent distance, and what we could see was incredible.

Hard is an overstatement. This hike is certainly worth it. It is a little tough to get there, but once you turn the corner and see the arch for the first time, it is incredible. I have hiked the Grand Canyon and Yosemite, and I still say that Delicate Arch is the most breathtaking view I have ever seen.
