Bun Lundrigan reviewed Karst Spring self-guiding trail

This is a very unique hiking trail. I wouldn't recommend it with young children. The trail is lined with moss and because it follows the river so closely, there was mud in some places. The trail is also very narrow and had some trees down over it that we stepped over. Also lots and lots of bugs.
The natural spring though was very cool and goes right under a small bridge. Plus the rocks in the area are millions of years old.

We loved this hike. The deep crevices made for high viewing of the lake. It was short enough to take our 4yr old child through and not too buggy. Just if you bring a child, make sure you keep them close as the first view point is a high cliff.
