It's a nice park for the family to spend the day. There is a short trail to overlook a waterfall and small pool of water that is used by some as a swimming hole. Kids would like the large tree house that you can walk into. We were there for a car show on Father's Day in 2010, which they held in the park that is walking distance from the tree house and trail area. There is also a public pool area. Here is a link to a website for the park. http://www.scrantonpa.gov/nayaug_park.html

This is a fun trail. Or should I say trails. We parked along the road at the intersection of Dutchtown Rd and Hullsville Rd as do many people. It is quite an open space there with wide enough shoulders to get off the road with your vehicle. We walked it in February of 2016 most recently, but we have walked it in the summer also. Either time it was fun. And because there wasn't much snow we got by with just hiking shoes and sneakers. The trail we took was the blue trail going down into the woods on the left side of the intersection as you are going up Dutchtown Rd. We walked down the hill through the woods, came out onto the dirt road and walked up that back to our vehicle.
When we came out of the woods onto the dirt road it seemed that the trail continued on into the woods across the road, but we didn't see anymore state forest trail markings so we turned around after walking a short ways and went back to the dirt road.

SallyAnn Bruce reviewed The IBM Glen Trail: An Educational Preserve of the Fred L. Waterman Center

My family has walked at the IBM Glen trail for many years. The trails are fairly well maintained. Due to flooding in the past some of the stone and cement bridges are gone but there is still one that is standing and usable that crosses the creek. It is a beautiful place to walk in the Spring, Summer, and Autumn. We haven't gone in the winter. The parking lot for the trail is small but nice. The trail starts at the top of the hill so walking back to the parking lot is all up hill. It is a great workout in some beautiful scenery. I highly recommend this trail.

It is a very scenic part of Route 80 in that area. The road winds through the trees and with Pleasant Brook meandering along side it is a very beautiful ride in the summer. The falls are small but pretty.
