Pretty difficult trail. We drove all the way to the summit of Cadillac mountain and descended down this trail to bubble pond. Very steep and difficult terrain. The descent was much more difficult than the ascent. Rough on the knees and lots of climbing down rocks. I would recommend this for only experienced hikers. Very steep rocks that require you to slide down them. Definitely not recommended for when it's foggy or even the slightest bit rainy.

Excellent trail! Not for those who are scared of heights or those who are not physically active. We saw several individuals that shouldn't of been on this trail and many turned backed around. This trail is very steep and requires climbing steel rungs. I would recommend going right at the start of the trail and climbing up the rungs and not the other way around. If you feel like you want to turn around keep going instead of going back down the rungs. Once you get to the top the descent down is much easier and less steep.

Rather flat but long trail that has two small ponds. Most of the trail is in the woods and is shaded. Beautiful pines line parts of the trail. Good running trail and dog friendly. Makes for a nice long walk.

More remote than some of the other trails in the CVNP and not as populated. One of my favorite trails for when I need a good workout. Great place to take dogs as well. Just make sure they won't be too frightened if you do come in contact with a horse.

Great hike! Stairs and hills are included in this hike. Brandywine falls is a great spot in the CVNP year around.

One of my favorite trails in the CVNP! Great spot for a picnic and hiking. The sandstone and pine trees make this place mystical.

Great place to play disc golf and to walk or run. I don't consider it a hiking trail as much. Short 1.8 trail but offers very pretty views of the lake.
