Awesome views and super peaceful at the top but it did not have well marked trails at the various forks... had I not downloaded the map I would have been in trouble (no cell service either so can’t follow that way)... but regardless it was def a recommended trail!

Easy trail and well maintained... good workout distance wise with inclines not being strenuous compared to other hikes... not too many “ah ha” moments but lots of wildlife... saw deer , turkey, gopher (at least I thought that’s what they were lol)... saw about 10 mountain bikers and only 1 other hiker on a Wednesday afternoon... seemed more of an attraction for mountain bikes than hiking... minimal mud/ice and no need for traction when hiking

I went last week and the trail was fantastic... snowpacked at points but no need for extra traction beyond normal hiking boots... only saw 3 other ppl there on a Wednesday... fantastic trail and well maintained... I will definitely be returning!

The views were great and there weren’t too many ppl since I went on a Wednesday but the storms last week made parts of the trail incredibly muddy/slippery... would definitely go again though when the trail is in better shape! Bring sunscreen though since the trail is rarely shaded and know that the Rim Trail portion is closed beginning of February through July (pretty sure those were the dates).
