Amazing!!! This hike has it all - views, mountains, lake, river, waterfall, glacier, snow, and wildflowers! My favorite hike in Colorado so far and one of my all-time favorites. My GPS didn't take me far enough to reach the trailhead, but luckily I kept driving and came across it (and groups of people walking towards it). Parking is extremely limited, so I recommend getting there early. The trail itself is quite rocky, and even though it's dog-friendly, I think it would be rough on their paws (one guy was carrying his dog down because their paw got cut up pretty badly). The trail gets very crowded, but it's definitely worth dodging fellow hikers to get to the top! The hike has a steady incline but is fairly easy (3/4 mile each way). Even though it doesn't take long to get to the end with the lake and glacier, plan on spending some time exploring and just taking it all in.
