Brian Myers reviewed Marine Park Greenway Trail

This is an EASY trail. It's not a "Moderate" trail. It really isn't even a trail as it is almost completely paved. The incline is gradual, and I didn't feel even a tiny bit taxed to walked the whole path.

The parking lot is large but a little uncomfortable to get out of since traffic is moving at 50mph+ and curving with sight-lines impeded. The path has some nice views of beautiful houses, the lake, and some nice UT buildings.
It's very clean. I believe the UT golf team trains next to it. The other people I met on the trail were very friendly.

I would not rate this as "Hard", however with regional bias, I can see how some might think so. The extremes of incline are greater than one normally finds on a moderate trail, but footing is never in question, the path is pretty easy to follow, many places to rest are available throughout, and weather wouldn't be too much of a hinderance. On a weekend, one will run into many dogs and outgoing people. Very nice views, which should actually be better. Not much effort has been put into creating viewing areas.

This is a nice comfortable trail where changes in elevation can be added in by taking side trails. One of the main trails that runs nearby is for mountain bikes only. I actually ran down part of that trail, and it would be amazing for biking. By adding that section of trail into the overall path, I got an excellent change in elevation and added quite a bit of distance as it connects to trails that are lower down the mountain.

Very good changes in elevation and footing. Most of hike is spent walking through the forest with trees surrounding one on all sides, as if within a tunnel of foliage. During one section, the lake is immediately adjacent, and access to the lake makes swimming or picnicking possible. In other sections, the trail leads through fields and up hills filled with wild flowers.
The previous reports of spiders is accurate. Be aware of spider webs. Of course spiders who place webs across paths like this are very unlikely to be on these strands, for it would limit their lifespan, and they aren't dangerous to humans.
